As a youth growing up in Havendale Kingston, Sah-tah was drawn to great vocalist. Some of which were Nat King Cole, Michael Jackson, Dionne Warrick Just to name a few. However on the local scene he was also inspired by Dennis Brown, Jacob "Killer" Miller Beres Hammond, Freddy McGregor, Leroy Sibbles (Satta-amasaghana Rid dim) and the DJ Ranking Trevor and last but not least his young uncle/brethren Delroy Melody. This early influence led to an unwavering love for music. In High school Sah-tah was motivated by a young group of brothers, (The Browne Bunch) whom Michael Jackson also influenced. He would discover his talent by performing Michael Jackson songs at house parties.
Recordings:
In 1983, Sah-Tah recorded his first two songs "Hall an pull it" and "Time for everything" under the guidance and watchful eyes of The original "Scientist" Sylvan Morris (mixed most of Bob Marley tunes) at Harry Jay Recording Studio in Kingston Jamaica. Sah-tah went by the name of Tony Montana at the time. He also did several recordings at Penthouse, Digital B studios for Artist/producer Hugo Barrington, artist / producer Charlie Chaplin, and Hopeton Lewis. He also produced a remake of Barry White's "Can't Get enough of Your Love" on his then White Nite Label. This was recorded at Dynamic Sounds and released in the UK.
 Mentors/ Heroes in the Music:
My main mentors were: first and foremost the Legend Bob Marley, Jacob Miller, Denis Brown.

Artist:Symfoni
Symfoni
The talented and beautiful singer, Symfoni, aka Sandy Stewart is a prodigy of her gifted
father singer/songwriter Tinga Stewart. Born and grow up in St. Andrew Jamaica, from her
earliest age, she would participate in school musical activities such as the choir and plays.
If Your Not Here , a cover of a Menudo song under the guidance and motivation of her dad.
Her next recording outing by a combination with Beenie Man called Sample Body recorded
in 1994. Since that time, she has performed constantly as an opening act fr her dad. This has
led to Symfoni becoming an avid stage perfomer, both as a soloist and as a back-up singer for
leading recording artist. More recently she recorded two combination tracks with Danny English
and release the singe "Happy".

At one time, Symfoni had formed a vocal trio group named Ignishon comprised of two of her
friends, Princess and Shantoi. The group lasted for about three years and released several
singles and toured all over the island of Jamaica, before disbanding. She then became the
back up singer for Superstar Patra, touring Africa.

She subsequently took a hiatus from performing to go back to shool to study message theraply
and ha since become a teacher of massage therapy and body aesthetics.

It was while working at the massage parlor that Symfoni was encouraged by Sharon Burke to
provide some harmonies for Warrior King. She took up the offer and it led to an extensive
working relationship with him that resulted in touring all over Europe, the Caribbean and the U.S.
from 2002 to the present. She recalls, "I really love working in Europe. Sometimes it's difficult
because we go from show to show without much sleep but the people love the music and we are
well recieved."

Some of the other artists Symfoni has performed as a back up singer which are Freddie
McGregor, Jimmy Riley, Crucial Banky, Limey Murray and Anthony Cruz. However, Symfoni
is now more than ever focused ib ger solo career. Her goal is to complete her debut album and
she is well advanced in that process, working with reggae icon, musician and producer Robbie
Shakespeare. She currently has eleven tracks completed and the album is expected t be completed
soon. She adds, "I've recorded a number of songs for different producers such as Bobby Digital;
Barry York: my brother, Michael Finger Stewart (who is also the engineer for Capleton), my dad
and a few others". Symfoni continues, "I've grown uup in the business and I'm aware that is very
competitive but I like hat, I know it is also a political game but like any other aspect of life, if
you have endurance and "sticktuity" you can get there. I am learning to play the piano and
I'm sure that will help with my songwriting skills."

When asked about working in the studio or onstage she says, "Working in the studio can be more
relaxing because if you make a mistake, you can go back and correct it and most of the time you're
alone in the recording booth and you feel in control. While working onstage there's no room for
mistake, for whatever you do is gone. However, what I like about stage performance is that it
allows me to travel a lot, knowing new places and new cultures. Some of my most memorable
experiences have been of performing at shows in different parts of the world. I'm certainly looking
forward to performing in those same places as a solo artist someday soon.

Artist:Shi
His stage name is "Shi" but he is determined to bring his music to the fore-front.
This is because Shi knows he has the right ingredient to become a Star-strength,
happiness and independance. His strength can be seen in the power of his lyrical
content. Shi brings happiness through his soothing and flawless voice and he projects
independance. Born Derrick Pitter this "Spanish townian" keeps telling people he has
many hit songs. It's a catalogue like hot bread ready to get off the shelves', Easy
Love","Wild Fire" "Big Question," "Not the World,"its the people and "New Kraze" a
combination with deejay Shatty.A.S.A.P., produced Bonny Cowan, is considered a
straight number one song by music critics including radio disc-jockeys. "The song
is like a breath of fresh air, an unforgettable experience. The lines "I need true
love, your kind of love and I need it now ASAP speaks of an immediate and true-to-life
experience. Shi's "Easy Love" produced by Bonny Cowan is also expressing a desire to bring
music to the forefront. Shi's catalogue is diverse. Another of his song "Big Question" is
a social commentary about. Crime ad violence, while It's not the world, it's the peopole
deals with problems worldwide. Shi, began his music career when he was ten, listening
to great like Tom Jones and Jamaican Bob Marley. At the age of 14, Shi began penning
his lyrics and came out with a good product called "Feeling of Love" he continued writing
similar songs such as "King Pharoahs Army" which went number two (2) on the top twenty
(20) pre-released chart in England. This, he says, gave him a feeling of accomplishmnt and he
became swarmed by a number of producers, but Shi believes he had to "fish around and got
caught by producer Bonny Cowan. Whom he has known for years. Cowan; a veteran in
the music business had enough links with publicists, booking agents and show promoters
to get things off the ground in a split second. Shi who has been traveling to U.S.A. and back is
convinced Jamaica is the root of reggae music. "One virtually has to do the basic ground
work here in Jamaica to be recognized once you have the right stuff then its easy" So,
Shi is giving the people what they want-good music and has already penned enough songs to
complete his album.

Denarii

From an early age, music and the passion to create and perform it have been his greatest joy. “There’s always music, whether I’m physically around it, or it’s in my head, therefore I have no doubts that it’s my destiny.”

Born in Jamaica in the parish of Saint Catherine, Denarii has had his fair share of struggles in the music business and now his perseverance is paying off. He has been an exponent of Reggae music for over two decades and is definitely among the elite in terms of voice and talent that cannot be overlooked. In his early years, the quest to establish himself as a formidable singer/songwriter allowed him to work with top Reggae producers at the time, the likes of Jammys, Penthouse Records, Bobby Digital, Mainstreet Records and others. Such experiences developed his recording skills and have made him one of the best recording artistes you can find. His onstage performances are direct and intense and have taken him on tours across the United States, places like the Seminole Hardrock Café and the AT&T Amphitheatre in Bayfront Park South Florida to name a few. With a voice as good as gold and the ability to make your blood rush, Denarii would tell you that writing and composing are his forte. Whether Dancehall, Lovers Rock or Roots Rock, his style and lyrics will make you stop, listen and rewind.

Denarii’s album is a work in progress and will be out by early March 2007. It will be worth waiting for, so all hard core and authentic Reggae fans be on the lookout and it’s not just hype Denarii is ripe.
